Day 1: Arrival at Kasol from Chandigarh Airport/Bhuntar Airport

Nearest airport to Kasol is Bhuntar airport in Kullu which is approximately 31kms from Kasol. But this Bhuntar airport connects to only three other cities, Shimla, Pathankot and Delhi. Someone from our side will be present there to pick you up for the destination. But if you choose to travel from Chandigarh airport which is approximately 288kms from Kasol, someone from our side will also be present there but to cover up that journey from airport to Kasol via road will take quite some time approximately 7-8 hrs when travelling via car and with a proper rest in between. You’ll be reaching the spot by afternoon if you’ve taken an early morning flight or else the drive would usually start at night and by the early morning next day you would be reaching Kasol. Check-in to the hotels will be as per the flight schedule. In the evening you can go for local sightseeing and later come back for warm yourself by the bonfire and get all cozy and lighten up with some music.

Day 2: Kheerganga Trek

Trek usually starts in the early morning and you’ll have to reach the spot well on time. The trek will begin after a light breakfast, and it is advisable to carry some munchies in the trek and carry ample amount of chocolate and toffee. It’s a 12 km trek (one side) which usually takes 4.5-5hrs to complete. This trek will be equally eye pleasing and breath taking. It will make you understand how majestic the nature of the Himalayas is yet how humble. There will be quite a few places to halt and take a good look during this trek, which includes, a Shiva Temple, fascinating rock genesis, and RudraNaag Waterfall. Evening will be a relaxing one around the bonfire with a casual stroll around the camp after dinner.
