The nearest airport from Manali is Bhuntar airport which is approximately 50kms from Manali, and someone from our side will be present there to pick you up. There is a drive to Jobra which is the originating point. The drive to Jobra from Manali is an 18kms stretch which roughly takes an hour to reach. From Jobra the trek is an easy ascent to Chika. We trek along the Rani River which meets the humongous rocky hills, and soon we arrive to Chika, where we camp for a night in tents.
Day 2:(Chika -Balu-ka-Ghera)
Today we get to see the snow clad scenes of the Dhaulandhar Ranges. Today’s trek of 5hrs approximately. We will start feeling the gentle yet bold Himalayas as the Dhaulandhar Range starts to appear. This is commonly referred to as The White Range, and here we notice the lush green valleys with kind of like polka dotted flowers creating a mystifying concoction which is extremely satisfying.
Day 3:(Balu-ka-Ghera - Siagoru -Hampta Pass)
Today’s main attraction are Hampta Pass, Kullu Valley, Lahul and Spiti Valley. Third day trek is the learning ground for most of the rookies, which includes an easy descent but the trek lasts for usually 8 hrs. Here we get to see the parched panoramic view of the Himalayas. Around this place we’ll get to see ample flock of sheep along with their shepherd who bring them in the valley to graze. After a slight halt at Hampta Village the descent starts to the base camp at Siagour.
Day 4:(Siagour-Chatru- Chandra Tal)
While we carry on with today’s downhill trek we’re going to see the Pir Panjal Ranges, which comes all the way along the Spiti Valley. And from Spiti Valley we come down to the base camp at Chatru. From Chatru we’ll have a drive to Chandra Tal, and all these passes in the Himalayas are cold desserts.
